Otter Lodge Skye is perfectly positioned on the Isle of Skye, offering easy access to some of Scotland's most spectacular landscapes. Whether you're arriving by car or public transport, here's everything you need to find us.

Arriving by Car

Otter Lodge Skye is easily accessible by car from the Scottish mainland. The journey typically takes around 5 to 6 hours from Edinburgh or Glasgow via the A82, A85, and A87 routes. Once you cross the Skye Bridge near Kyleakin, follow signs towards Portree.

The lodge is situated just a short drive from Portree, the largest town on Skye. We have ample on-site parking available for all our guests.

Arriving by Public Transport

Those preferring public transport can reach the Isle of Skye via coach and bus services. Citylink and local bus operators run regular services from major Scottish cities to Portree, which is the main gateway to the island.

Connections to Portree coach services are available from Inverness railway station. Once in Portree, local taxi services or car hire can take you the rest of the way to Otter Lodge.
